Tata Nexon : A detailed review of Tata's Subcompact SUV

The all new facelifted version of the Tata Nexon was unveiled by Tata a few days ago . The front fascia of the Tata Nexon is bold and futuristic; it contains Led DRL's that are sequential, The DRL's also act as indicators .The headlight units of the Tata nexon is inspired by the Tata design language; therefore, the headlight units is placed on the lower side of the DRL's. The headlight unit is all LED ,along with the projector .

As we come to the sides of the Tata Nexon, there is not much changed as compared to the older Nexon. Some of the changes Include the design of the alloys, that are very eye catching and fresh. The Nexon now gets Huge- sized side view mirrors that is mostly inspired by the Tata Harrier.

As we moved towards the back fascia, we observed a beautiful connecting tail lamp with welcome and goodbye features. As the older generation of the Tata Nexon's tail light was a controversial topic, some loved them while others thought it was a bit odd and did not fit the front fascia, but as we can see, this generation's light is going to be loved by the maximum number of people as the connecting tail lamps are all LED and very eye-catching.

As we go inside the cabin, it is all revised, with a new steering wheel design and dashboard layout . The new steering wheel consists of first-in-class illuminated Logo and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster that can even Apple carplay which is easier for the driver to navigate. It also Consists of 10.25-inch floating digital infotainment system by Harman. Cabin of the Tata Nexon feels sporty and practical .

Some of the extra features that are offered are ventilated seats, a wireless charger, connected car tech, 8 speaker and 1 subwoofer system , multiple drive modes ( eco, city, sport), a paddle shifter , Six airbags , auto rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps , tire pressure monitoring systems, a 360-degree surround camera with front parking sensors, and a blind view monitor.

There are two engines that are offered in the Tata Nexon

• 1.2-liter turbocharged revotron petrol engine that produces 88.2 KW @ 5500 rpm and 170 NM @ 1750-4000 rpm .

• 1.5-liter turbocharged revotorq diesel engine that produces 84.5 KW @ 3750 rpm and 260 NM @ 1500-2750 rpm .
